Forney Falls to Liberty in Playoffs
The Forney Jackrabbits hosted the Frisco Liberty Redhawks for their First Round Matchup in the Texas 5A State Playoffs last week. The atmosphere was electric as the town came out to support the Rabbits on a cold evening. A win versus the Redhawks last Friday night would result in a second round date with Powerhouse Aledo. The Jackrabbits were unable to overcome a fast start by Liberty, though, and ultimately ended their season with a 45-21 loss at City Bank Stadium.
Crandall Clinches Playoff Spot with Win Over Greenville
Coach Hardin and his Pirates had been locked in all week preparing for their matchup with Greenville. If the Pirates won, they would make it to the playoffs for the first time since moving up to 5A.
Big Defensive Energy Propels Jackrabbits Past Royse City
The Forney Jackrabbits hosted the Royse City Bulldogs for their regular season finale of the 2021 Season last Friday night, November 5. A win versus the Bulldogs, who came into the game with an eight and one record, would result in a second place district finish for the Jackrabbits. Winning this game would also secure a home playoff game for Forney for the first round of playoffs, something FHS hasn’t seen in nearly two decades.
