Signs Of ADHD In Children
Rates of attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) among children are high. A 2022 survey from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that more than 11 percent of children between the ages of three and 17 have been diagnosed with ADHD. Though ADHD is slightly less common among youngsters in Canada, affecting between 5 and 7 percent of the nation’s children according to the Centre for ADHD Awareness, Canada, it’s still considered one of the most prevalent neurodevelopmental disorders in the country.

Trinity Valley Community College is proud to announce the summer 2024 graduating class. Graduates will receive their diplomas or certificates by mail and have been invited to participate in the fall 2024 graduation ceremony.
Celebrate Teachers!
World Teachers’ Day is celebrated annually on October 5 which coincidentally is the date for this year’s Forney Education Foundation’s Gala and Auction! The Back to the 80’s Gala, 7-11 p.m., is being held at The OC featuring dinner, auctions, and music from the Molly Ringwalds. And what better way for FEF to emphasize how important our teachers in Forney ISD are to the success of our students than to support them through the teacher requested grants program. The Adopt-A-Grant opportunity for the Forney Community will be happening soon with the Grant Train rolling through the District soon thereafter.
